Stop Motion Animation: Two Froggies
Stop motion is one of those things where every second on screen costs a lot of time behind the scenes. Positioning and moving the objects frame by frame took a long time, and taking photos started to feel repetitive. Editing also took longer than I expected because I kept going back to the beginning to check the timing and overall flow. I wanted the final work to feel handcrafted, so I added handwritten dialogue and set the timing to 0.9 seconds per frame (1 second felt a bit too long), rather than trying to make it smoother. Lighting was important too, so I used my table lamp like a spotlight.
I really enjoyed making my own characters. It felt like building a tiny world and then figuring out how to make it move. Adding sound and sound effects were also big parts of it. They helped the whole animation feel more alive.

Hi Jiwon, I love your stop motion animation!! I love the frog designs because they are adorable, especially the one with the glasses. The conversation is lovely, and the sound effect works so well with the video. This is one of my favorite stop-motion animations I have seen so far.
